I had the most pleasant experience at St Joe's as much as you can when you have appendicitis. From the ED to the floor and Surgery everything was top notch. The medical staff was top notch , caring , compassionate and quick. I would never want to go to a hospital but if I have to .. St. Joe's is my go to.
Unexpected gem, hospital food is never ideal but in this instance you may have to rethink. As a patient and a guest of a patient there is no other hospital I'd rather have a noche at than St.Joseph Au Bou Pan I'm good on you
what a great little secret dining spot, if you are ever in the area and in need of a cheap breakfast but good hands down 2 people Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Biscuits & Gravy, OJ, Hot Coffee or Chocolate for around $16 of course we didn't both get all that food but we had a little off it all it seems and we were full afterwords. Yesterday had a appointment and we had lunch they had stuffed fish and rice with some Zucchini the zucchini was a little over cooked but tasted good we both got soup and a soda just under $20 for both meals now if they would just serve as good of food for you as a patient upstairs, really I don't know who cooks the food for the patients but they obviously are not cooking for the dinning hall also they have a nice salad bar it's by the weight so they pre-made up salads are a better deal money wise they are around $5.50 for a nice size salad
This hospital has one of the most caring, friendliest staff members in the city. The staff here want to work here and have passion for what they do. From routine doctor visits, outpatients procedures and inpatient stays, I don't regret choosing this hospital to take care of me. It needs updates/remodel that I believe is in the works. When it comes to your health and care, having a team like the ones I've experienced here is what every hospital should strive for.
Hot food was excellent. Service was great. For example, employees quickly made fresh coffee when the percolators were empty. Wish they had longer hours and more take and go options.
